Yainer Rodriguez, Medical Records, Clinical Staff support
My name is Yainer Rodriguez and was born in the beautiful island of Cuba. My educational formation is related to foreign languages; I graduated at Havana's University with a bachelor in German/English translation and interpretation.
My first work experiences were in the hospitality sector; I was a tour guide and representative for German tour-operators for seven years. Before coming to America, I also worked as a Customer Sales and Services Representative at a call center in the Fiji Islands.
I started volunteering at Cepero Pediatrics and training for my current position at Medical Records in May 2015, becoming a Staff member in September 2015. While working in the health care field was supposed to be a big change and a challenge for me, the support and knowledge offered to me by the staff made it all seem easier. Contributing to a safer and healthier environment for our children is not only a privilege, it is also fun.
Our work flow might be stressful at times; but all it takes to turn it into a brighter day is a kid's smile. I still consider myself a big child at heart, and that's probably why I enjoy my time here so much. Cooking, reading a good book, chilling at the beach or spending time with family and friends consume most of my time outside the office.
