Denise Heavener, LPN (Office Manager and Billing)
I have been a Licensed Practical Nurse since 2007 and have worked in pediatrics for more than 15 years. I have a passion for traveling and baking. I have 2 grown boys of my own. I have been married to my husband for more than 25 years and we have had many adventures together!
I first worked with Dr. Cepero at another practice, and I began working at Cepero Pediatrics in September 2012. I initially worked as the Triage Nurse and after a year started fulfilling the Office Manager position. Due to my experience in the different areas of the Pediatric office I was also assigned the Billing for the office, for which I also had extra training. You may see me filling in from time to time in all areas of the office, whether it be the front desk or on the floor rooming patients.
I have enjoyed working at Cepero pediatrics because Dr. Cepero treats her staff like family and truly cares about us and her patients!
